Ovia Health Continues Expansion of Maternity Benefits Solution, Executive Team
BOSTON (Dec. 18, 2017) – Ovia Health, the leading women’s health and technology company innovating the way women navigate their health from preconception through parenthood, today announced that Gabriela Perez Hobson has joined as Executive Vice President of Business Development. Perez Hobson will play a key role in growing the company as it continues to gain significant momentum in the employer space with its comprehensive maternity benefits solution.
For the past two decades, Perez Hobson has founded and built successful healthcare-technology companies. She served as a member of the founding team at Best Doctors, a pioneer in the market of global e-second opinions and five-time winner of Inc. Magazine’s “Fastest Growing Companies in America” and “Most Innovative Companies.” Following Best Doctors, Perez Hobson led the recapitalization of Attune as Chief Growth and Marketing Officer. In 2014, she was recognized by the International Business Awards as Female Executive of the Year. Perez Hobson currently is a partner at NextGen Ventures and sits on the investment board of the Florida Institute for Commercialization of Research and Technology and is an Advisor to Mayo Clinic and numerous health technology companies.
