Meet Sharon Kan, co-founder and CEO of Pepperlane, an online community that offers a multitude of resources for mothers looking to nurture, expand, or launch a business. Sharon is passionate about Pepperlane because, as she puts it, “motherhood is really good for business.” Although Sharon finds great happiness in being a working mom, she knows just how tough it can be.
In order to foster a peaceful coexistence between work and home, she encourages mothers to “practice forgiveness” and be kind to themselves. This Mother’s Day, Sharon hopes to honor the mothers who are struggling in one way or another. She reminds us that no matter how hard motherhood might get, no mother should feel she has to tackle the challenges on her own. All mothers should support and enable one another.
