Product Spotlight: Motorola MBP36S Remote Wireless Video Baby Monitor
The Ovia Family Awards are a collection of the most beloved products in fertility, pregnancy, and baby chosen by the real experts — the Ovia community! This product spotlight features one of the winners of our 2016 Ovia Family Awards: the Motorola MBP36S Remote Wireless Video Baby Monitor.
Need to look and make sure your baby is still the cutest person in the world? We’ve got a monitor for that. The Motorola MBP36S Remote Wireless Video Baby Monitor has a sensitive microphone, two-way communication, and the ability to pan, tilt, and zoom the camera to get the best view of baby.
Who is this for?
The mom who has been trying to teach her baby how to Facetime.
Why is it cool?
You can see and hear your baby, and they can also hear you! With two-way communication and a range of over 500 feet, you can sing to your little one from the other side of your home. (The camera also plays lullabies, if you’re more of a sing-alone-in-your-car person.) Our favorite feature of this monitor is that it has night vision, so you can check out that sleepy baby all night long.
How much does it cost?
$99-150, depending on size
Anything I should know?
Having a wireless monitor is great because it means you can place it anywhere without worrying about plugs or cords, but it also means you’ll have to make sure its batteries are always charged. This monitor will actually alert you when the batteries are getting low, so you’ll have time to find some new batteries or recharge the ones you already have.
What do other Ovia moms think?
“It’s wireless, which is great, and Motorola is a good company you can trust.”
